Let us help you harness the Power of your Proxy
Proxy Impact services include established voting guidelines, proxy voting, reporting; plus a unique new research service linking your proxy voting to your mission
Proxy Impact provides socially responsible investment guidelines and recommendations for your proxy votes. We believe that vote guidelines based on established environment, social and governance (ESG) criteria should be the starting point for a proxy service – not the exception to the rule. We will also work with clients to make their own customized guidelines.
Proxy Voting / Reporting
Proxy Impact provides traditional proxy voting services on domestic and foreign companies trading in the US. Our automated system allows us to do the voting for you following your approved guidelines. You only need to be contacted if a proxy vote does not fit under your guidelines or if you have provided standing instructions to be contacted on certain votes. Confirmation of all votes will be provided.
Proxy Impact provides custom shareholder advocacy services to the non-profit, socially responsible investment and foundation communities. Proxy Impact staff have engaged the nation’s largest investors and corporations on key social, environmental, and governance issues. We research core issues, engage in dialogue with company executives, and file shareholder resolutions to promote more responsible corporate behavior.
There is a growing movement in philanthropy to align investment and mission. Proxy Impact offers a unique new research service for foundations that identifies the links between an organization’s proxy voting, its mission, and the work of its grantees. This will help a foundation leverage its proxy votes to support its mission and also provide more strategic options for how a foundation can address key issues through either its investments or grant making. Research includes:
- Grantee engagement with companies in your investment portfolio
- Shareholder resolutions and proxy votes related to a foundation’s mission / core programs
- Social / environmental profile of companies in your investment portfolio
